Into the Woods

Hello lovelies! Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for the start of a new week! Today’s post features one of my go-to combos for Spring…a fun dress, hat, some boots, and a jacket! As you can see below, because it was a little chilly this particular day, I dressed up this Spring look with a brown leather jacket, but as it continues to warm up, this look would be fab even without the jacket! This blue dress is from Shabby Apple and is one that I love because it is one that can be easily paired with a variety of items (shoes, hats, jackets, etc) and there is something about this blue that seems to match with almost everything! Sometimes the simplicity of a dress is what makes it beautiful! This shoot was a fun one because it made me feel sort of like I was hanging in the woods, even though I totally wasn’t haha! It was something about the way the trees were hanging, the snow still on the ground, and the mountains close by that made me feel like I was a in some far off woods, it’s crazy how certain little places can remind you of other big places, even though they are entirely different settings and areas. Do you ever have that happen, like you find this spot in a park, or neighborhood, or even in a city…that totally reminds you of a much bigger, more beautiful place? Maybe it’s just me, or maybe I’m weird, but either way it was fun to shoot this dress in this little spot! Hope everyone has such a wonderful day and thank you for following!
