Hello lovelies. Happy Monday to all of you. What a wonderful privilege we have to begin another new week. Seriously though, sometimes I forget what a gift it is to have life for another day, another week, another month, another year. There are so many dreams I have and things I want to accomplish and do, and I think sometimes I forget to stop and simply soak in the moments that I am given, the moments that make life so amazing. Do you guys ever feel that way? That you get running around in forty seven different directions, when all you have to do is sit down and look around at your life and you will see what an awesome gift it is? Well I do, and I am feeling that strong as I write this right now and I want to do a better job of noticing the moments that I don’t get to repeat, those moments that fill me with overwhelming gratitude for the family and life I have to opportunity to live each day. I find that when I pause to notice moments in my life, I have nothing but gratitude to God for giving me all I have. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it, and if you have, try it again.
Anyways, on to today’s look, I did something with this look I don’t always do. Mixed stripes with camo….oh no you might say! Did she really?! Haha, well yes I did and I loved the way it turned out. This casual look is one I wore on Sunday but could be worn on a night out or to meetings or whatever. The pieces, though different, just work together and that again is what I love about styling and putting looks together. Sometimes the pieces you would have never paired together at first sight can come together surprisingly nice.
