Helicopter Adventures in Whistler

Hello loves.

Conquering fears in favor of adventure. Easier said than done right?! Worth it though? Every single second is worth it. One of Brod’s favorite quotes is this:
” Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.”- Shakespeare

How true does this ring to you? Well, let me tell you, this weekend here in Whistler, Canada (which I will share much more with you in a later blog post) has been a weekend of not losing the good by fearing to attempt, rather it has been a week of facing fears, new adventures, and making memories.

I had the opportunity to travel up to here to Whistler, Canada to spend time with 4 of my great friends who are also fellow bloggers(we all started around the same time), and absolute women BOSSES and inspirational to me on a daily basis! We all traveled here together to spend a few days together and it has been amazing in every way! Rachel Parcell, Amber Clark, and Christine Andrew are not only first class brand owners and businesswomen, but more importantly are kind, genuine, and wonderful friends and people. I love each of them and love seeing the success they have and good they continue to put into the world!
So, now to the conquering of fears….well many of you may already know, but I have a bit of a fear when it comes to heights. I don’t like them, they make me nervous/anxious and I usually try to steer clear of them as much as I can. So knowing this, riding in a helicopter to the top of Whistler mountain to walk on a glacier has never been option number one when thinking of adventures. Can I just say that now maybe it is though? We did it, we took a helicopter through the skies and clouds and landed on the top of Whistler Mountain and guess what…..it was so freaking amazing, terrifying, freezing, awesome, and scary all at the same time. And I would do it again in a heartbeat! Brod captured some of the moments below and it truly is an experience I will not soon forget. Being up that high felt as though we were walking among the clouds, and seeing the vastness of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains was literally breathtaking. I loved it, Brod loved it, I think we all loved it, and it will be etched in our memories as one of the adventures of life that we are thankful and glad to have experienced. If you ever have a chance to visit Whistler, put the helicopter ride (with Blackcomb Helicopters at the top of your list), because the views and glacier experience are so awesome! If there is one thing I hope you can takeaway from today’s post, it is this…choose adventure over fear, faith over doubt, and you will find more good in life than you ever would have experienced otherwise. I love you all and hope you have an amazing day!
