Baywatch Style at Marco Island

Hello loves. Happy Monday from beautiful Marco Island! We are back in Florida and absolutely loving it!! Some of you may remember from last October when the boys and I traveled here to Marco Island and stayed at the JW Marriott. Well, we fell in love with this place last October and we are back!! And the amazing thing is…. it is even better the second time around. Like really, it is. We have traveled all over the world and for the boys and I this place is right up at the top as one of our favorites. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Marco Island or where it is, head to Naples and then keep going south for about a half hour and boom, you are there! The island is such a quaint and quiet place, with gorgeous white sands, fantastic resorts, and warm ocean water for days and days.

We flew in on the redeye and yet somehow the very first thing the boys wanted to do when we arrived…head to the swimming pool immediately! They love the kid’s pool here at the JW Marriott Marco Island, I think Hanes went down the slide over 400 times in our first afternoon haha! And Arrow, aka Raphael, played “ninja turtles” with Brod in the splash pad for a good 3 hours straight. So yeah it was a good start to the trip, swimming and sunshine! I swear our boys could swim from sun up to sundown if we let them, and at a place like this I wouldn’t even be mad. I really wouldn’t, the temperature is perfect and I swear there is this like “chill” aura that permeates the area, keeping both the pool and beaches at a constant peace. I guess that is kind of the way I would describe Marco Island, a combination of relaxed adventure and peaceful beauty. What more do you need right?! So, for those of you that are looking to visit Florida, the boys and I highly, highly recommend spending some time at the JW Marriott in Marco Island. Check it out for yourself.
