Sporty Swim and the Hut life

Happy Thursday loves. It’s Thursday so it’s only appropriate that I do a little throwback or TBT to last week in Marco Island at the JW Marriott. This was one of our favorite days there because it was spent at the beach and in a tiki hut. I mean come on, is there anything better than an entire day chilling in the white sand and soaking up the sun in the ocean.

The tiki hut is easily one of my boys favorites of staying at the JW Marriott Marco Island. They call it their “beach fort” and any type of avenger and/or ninja turtle activity goes on there. One minute they are Rafa and Leo and the next they are Captain America and Ironman. It seriously never stops. They also think it’s so cool that we got to eat our lunch in the “beach fort.” I always get a kick out of what the boys get most excited about, and the hut and eating in the hut was definitely a highlight for them. Not to mention Arrow loves root beer more than anything in the world, so any activity involving root beer becomes one of his favorites.

For the hut life, I went with a sporty blue and black swimsuit. I love the fit of it and love that it doesn’t look anything like the other swim pieces I have. It definitely has a more sport/athletic look to it and I love the way it fits my body. I have linked it below as well as few others like it, so if you are digging the look make sure and check it out. One of the best parts of swimwear is that there are so many options, styles, fits, and colors. In Marco Island I loved being able to switch up my swimwear look and vibe each day for the beach and pool. I would love to hear your thoughts on the sporty swim look…do you like? do you not like? Also, we are thinking of launching a couple of hats at caralorenshop, similar to what I am wearing in the pics here…I would love your feedback on them? Would you wear one?

  2. My husband and I have been married for 3 and a half years. In June it will be 7 years that we have been a part of each other lives. Recently he found out about a guy I slept with when we were separated and I did not tell him about. Before we got married we both agreed to let everything out and start fresh. I didn’t tell him.
