Hello lovelies. So, if you don’t know this about me already, now is as good of a time as ever for me to tell….I have a thing, a passion, a love, an interest,  and a continuous want for shoes. I absolutely love shoes and love finding new brands and styles of shoes to try out and add to my wardrobe. In particular, I have a thing for sneakers and the type of shoes that I can wear day in and day out, no matter what my schedule might entail.

So when I came across the brand Allbirds and their wool runner, I was more than excited to check them out! I have worn a variety of different shoes from various brands, but never a shoe that takes an approach to comfort by way of wool the way Allbirds does. Both the Wool Runner and the Wool Lounger are created and made from natural properties such as New Zealand superfine merino wool. Now I will be honest, before the Wool Runner, I had never really worn a shoe made from wool, in particular, fine merino wool from New Zealand….and I must say wow! Like these things are crazy comfortable. They are lightweight on the foot, easy to move in, and I love the casual simple look they have, allowing them to be paired with a variety of looks. As I wore them for the first time I knew that they were going to become one of my “go-to” pair of shoes. Shoes I can wear as I go about my daily schedule whether it be to meetings, running the boys to and from school, shopping, attending events, or getting tasks for work done. I knew quickly that wherever the day was going to take me, I could wear my Wool Runners and I was going to be taken care of in terms of comfort, flexibility, and style.

As you can see in the pics below, I threw them on with some jeans, a tee, and a jacket and I love the way the shoes casually completed the look. They come in a variety of colors and I love how soft they feel on the foot. They are super breathable as well, so the no sock look not only looks good, but feels good as well. So yeah, if you are looking for a new pair of go-to/everyday kicks to try out…look no further than the Wool Runner from Allbirds. I think you will be pleasantly surprised once they are on your foot, and another nice thing about them is they are priced competitively, so they shouldn’t break the entire piggy bank.
