So, let’s talk contemporary. When I think of contemporary style or contemporary designers I think:

• high-quality fabrics
• well made
• fun, at times quirky, a youthful twist
• casual, but also at times dressed up
• trendy and fashion-forward.

Well, today’s look is all about keeping it contemporary in terms of the style, look, and price point of the look. I have teamed up with Saks to find showcase what contemporary means to me and in the process have found a look and pieces that I will be wearing all spring and summer long. Let’s talk the dress, it’s fun, it’s flirty, it’s cute, it’s extremely comfy and right up y alley in terms of colors and fit. I love it and cannot say enough about it. The shoes…I love a good platform sandal. They are flattering, easy to pair and match, and overall, surprisingly more comfortable than you might think. I am big time sandal wearer in the spring and summer and these will be coming out of the closet to play again and again.

Ok, now let’s chat about the handbag. This Chloe handbag might be on the higher end of the usual contemporary price point scale, but my goodness it is a beauty. Carried on the side, worn as a backpack, or draped as a handbag…the simplicity and classic look and feel of this bag is hard to beat. It will be go-to accessory in my wardrobe this season!! Throw in some matching sunnies and you are ready to go!
