The London Look

Happy Thursday ya’ll! Today’s post is a quick flash back to us roaming the streets of London. I really, really love the streets of London and this particular day just added to my love of that beautiful city. We visited Trafalgar Square, walked the Strand, ate at probably the coolest restaurant I have ever set foot in (in Knotting Hill), and attended the Vogue exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery. So yeah, all and all, it was a fantastic day. I knew the day would be a heavy walking day, it seems everyday in London is a heavy walking day, so I decided to wear my sneaks ( Nike Air Max Thea’s) and some casual-cool street wear. As you may have noticed, I really love pairing sneakers with a variety of different looks. It’s is interesting to me, as we walked London, and as we have traveled to other cities and countries in Europe, it seems that wearing sneakers with many different looks is super common. I have never seen so many different brands, styles, and colors of sneakers as I have in London, Paris, Milan, and Florence. I think the trend is such a cool one, and I hope that it continues to take flight here in the states. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my heels, boots, sandals, lace-ups, etc, etc…but I am digging my sneakers in a big way this season! What do you like to pair your sneakers with?
