Into The Woods

Good morning and happy Tuesday guys! Today’s post takes us to Muir Woods National Park, about an hour north of San Francisco. We went exploring among the redwoods and loved every minute of it. It was seriously so beautiful to walk and hike around these gigantic trees and see a part of the world that we had never seen. The woods were so quiet and peaceful and Brod and I just walked and talked about life, and our boys, and kind of just took it all in. I highly recommend taking a day or half day to and visiting Muir Woods next time you are in SF, it is a nice change from the city and the redwoods are seriously breathtaking. The trails are super easy to hike on and the park is big enough that you can find your own spot to wander around without feeling like you are being crowded by others. Brod was especially giddy because he had been wanting to see redwoods for awhile and let’s just say it was hard to get him to want to leave the woods haha! My hiking attire was pretty simple, some leggings, Nike sneakers, a sweatshirt and leather jacket. Of course this hiking was not super hard core so my outfit could be pretty casual. I think as long as you have a jacket and some comfortable shoes that are good for walking you are good to go! Have a great day ya’ll and thanks so much for following!
