Play Time

Hey gang! I hope this post finds you happy and well! Today’s post is all about play time with the dudes. As I have mentioned before, with both Brod and I doing most of our work from our home office, there are plenty of opportunities for us to break away from work and get in some quality play time with the boys. One of my favorite things to do with Hanes and Arrow is join them in their room or their playroom and become a part of this wonderful world of play that they dive into each day. Whether it be reading books (mostly looking at pictures for them as they are still a little young to be skilled readers haha), playing hungry hippos, or building lego cities and characters…there is nothing I love more than chilling and playing with my guys. The way their imaginations work is so fun and they come up with some of the funniest ideas as they are sitting and playing. Hanes asks at least 400 questions per minute about where toys come from, who makes them, what my favorite book is, why is it my favorite, what are legos made out of, etc! Seriously, the kid is so inquisitive about every aspect of life, it makes me want to know more and learn more so that I can be there to answer the questions he has! And then there is Arrow, he is the definition of sour and sweet. He can be such a handful sometimes and gets this bossy attitude when we are playing at times, but then he will flip a switch and be the nicest and sweetest little boy you have ever seen. I swear his personality can change within a one minute span of time and he has me either laughing and smiling or telling him to stop being naughty haha!

One important thing that the boys love and need while they are playing are comfortable clothes that they can run around in, play games in, get messy in, and just chill in! I am excited to be partnering with Kohl’s and their Jumping Beans line because they have a fantastic selection clothing that is all about making my boys feel comfortable and cool. Their jackets, sweats, t-shirts, shorts, and other tops were a perfect match for the boys and something they felt comfortable and happy in while we played the day away! They have a great mix of basic and printed pieces at awesome price points so it was easy to find something for both Hanes and Arrow. And the fact that they both didn’t take it off immediately (which has happened before) helped me to know that the comfort level for them was spot on. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Jumping Beans line at Kohl’s, do so here.

Thank you all for following and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
