Park City Main

Hey guys! Happy Monday! I hope that each of you had a wonderful weekend and were able to spend some time with you those you love most! I had a very relaxing weekend at home with my dudes and it was just what I needed to feel recharged and ready to begin a new week. We spent yesterday just chilling and listening to LDS Conference (semi-annual meetings held by my church) and it was so good to have some kick back family time. I love being with my boys more than anything in this world and I spent yesterday reflecting and thinking about what really matters, and what I can do to be a better mom, wife, friend, and person. Life gets so busy sometimes and I find myself getting caught up in my day to day to-do’s, work, and various activities, and I forget to slow down and sincerely focus on what matters most to me. Or to even ask that question? What really matters? Am I spending time on those things that matter most to me each day? If not, what do I need to change? I’m not trying to preach to you guys or anything like that, but I just felt like sharing the importance of taking the time to reflect on and think seriously about what you value and what your time and energy and actions say about what you value? Sometimes we all need a reminder as to what life is all about ya know! Any who, today’s post takes us up to a day in Park City that we did some exploring, window shopping, and pizza eating. Main street in Park City is one of those great streets for just walking and wandering around haha. You know the types of streets I am talking about? You don’t necessarily need to be looking for anything to by or have a specific reason to go there, there are streets that are just great for being there. There are a couple of other streets similar that I can think that we have been to recently, Abbot Kinney Blvd in LA, and 12th South in Nashville. I love streets like this and so do Brod and the boys, sometimes just being somewhere is enough. After our day of walking on main street we stopped to grub on some pizza and then…boom it was nap time. You can see in some of the pics below that after lunch the boys were done haha! It’s always so crazy to me how it seems a switch can go off in our boys that takes them from happy and energetic to immediately being tired and grumpy. It seriously happens in one second! Anyone else see this in their little ones? It’s like their mood/energy change button is on fast forward haha! Well, I will let you get to your week now but thank you all for following and I hope that this is the beginning of a fantastic week for each of you!!
