While I was pregnant, all I wanted to wear was high-waisted things and now I remember why! I don’t know what it is about them, but I feel like high-waisted items are so feminine yet so cool at the same time. Everything from skirts, pants, shorts….everything! Don’t get me wrong, I loved being pregnant and growing that little man inside me, but I was excited to expand my wardrobe a little bit.
I paired this high-waisted skirt with a fun casual sweatshirt to mix up the look a little bit. I would normally pair this skirt with a blouse or something a little more dressy, but I think it’s always fun to try new things and I really like how it turned out.
Oh and if you can’t already tell, I’m really into relaxed ponies lately. Not only because they take me less than 1 minute in the morning, but I’m loving the effortless vibe they put off. Are you guys onboard with the casual pony look or what’s your take on it?
