Pleats for Spring

Hello loves. It’s almost Thursday (couple hours away) and I’m coming at you in all grey. Not because I am in a bad mood or because it’s raining here, but because I love monochromatic color schemes and this skirt/sweater combo might be one of my favorite looks of the spring. I love this combo, I love the way both pieces pair together, so word of warning right now, you might be seeing much more of these type of sweater/skirt looks in the near future…like maybe all spring long.

Pleats are not something I wear everyday but when it comes to this skirt, I am all in with the pleats. They are different and when paired with the sweater (from caralorenshop), they add texture and variation to the look, creating a change in the look from piece to piece, without changing color. That is probably why I love this look so much, the colors in both hero pieces are the same and yet it works so well because the look and feel (patch details, pleats) of each piece is unique in their own way. I have linked each of the pieces and boots below (the skirt was an older piece so I linked similar ones), so you can shop the post and check them out for yourselves. I hope you all are having a wonderful week and getting excited for Easter! Thanks for following and remember to leave any comments, questions, or feedback you have in the comment section below! Love ya’ll!

  1. Payday advance is a bland name to a moderately new type of loaning cash. The name is gotten from the way that the credit is reimbursed in full in the following paycheque of the borrower, consequently the name payday advance.

  2. I love the pleated skirt. It’s such a great option for spring! Also the monochrome look is gorgeous. The different textures totally make the outfit look chic!
