So…..we are having a girl!!!
I seriously can’t believe it! We would have been so happy whether our 3rd was to be a boy or a girl, but to say we are excited is an understatement. I don’t think I even realized how much I wanted a girt until we found out. Brod was out of town and I called him balling, overwhelmed with emotion on the excitement of having our first baby girl. The boys have been so funny and seem to be excited, each of them expressing it in their own way. I don’t think it is quite real for them yet, once she has arrived and they can hold and see her, then I think it will “register” that they have a baby sister. As for Brod and I, we are so humbled and thankful to be bringing another soul into this world and we are thrilled to be able to be mom and dad to a little girl!! We have already been chatting about whether she will look more like Hanes or Arrow, more like me or Brod haha….it’s hard to even picture having a girl because we are so used to boys in this house, but we are eager and ready to welcome a gal!
