Sail Away

Happy humpday ya’ll. Today, as the leaves begin to change here in Utah and the Fall weather starts to settle in, I thought…I don’t know if I’m ready for cold. Then I thought, well I don’t really control the weather and it is going to continue to get cooler and cooler here where I live, whether I am ready or not. So you know what…I am going to do the next best thing I can control when it come to the weather…throw it back to sunny days in Marco Island here on the blog.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the Fall, it is one of my absolute favorite times of year, and dressing for the Fall might be my number one when it comes to fashion, but sometimes I want to reflect and jump back to the warm sun, beautiful ocean, and a sail boat. So that is what I have done today. These pics were taken as we spent the day sailing the ocean down in Marco Island. We had the coolest captain ever, he had been sailing for the last 20 years and the boys thought it was so awesome to be sailing on a “moana” boat. We sailed out to a few of the other islands, searched for different kinds of birds, chased dolphins, found some seashells and crabs, played in the sand, and then headed back to where we started. It was a magical day, and one I don’t think I will ever forget…and one I don’t think the boys will either. Hard to forget your first time ever sailing.
