Kitchen Reveal!

Hey loves. Happy Monday to each of you! I hope this post finds you healthy and well. Today’s post, as you can probably guess by the title of the post, is all about our kitchen!! This room/area is probably my favorite space in the house and definitely the space that took the most thought and decision making. I wanted it to be true to who I am and my style and yet I wanted to take some risks and try new styles/designs out as well. It turned out just the way I had envisioned and I absolutely love it! Jill Higley, my designer, and I wanted to keep it feeling very earthy in the tones and raw with the vibe. This is kind of a tricky balance to find, but as we brought in elements of wood, stone, cabinetry, lighting, and then the decor, I feel like we accomplished both the tone and vibes we had in mind from the beginning! Teamwork makes the dream work baby, and I want to say huge thanks again to Jill Higley for partnering with me and helping me bring this kitchen to life. One of the central features is the countertop and I was able to work with Contempo Tile to find the right style, look, and size of countertop that I was hoping for. They nailed it and every day that I walk into our kitchen area I look at our countertop and smile because I love it so much!! Ok, I am going to keep it short and sweet because the photos will tell an show you more than I can with words, but I hope you enjoy taking a more detailed look at our kitchen and I would love to hear your feedback as to what you think or like or don’t like! I have linked a bunch of the items you see below, so you can check out details on your own. I hope you all have a fantastic day! Thanks for following along!!

  1. It is simply beautiful and so serene! But I’m completely baffled, there is no long counter space at all to prep food. Sure a giant island but you have to stand on the side of it, or next to the stove. Layout was a miss here IMO. I think you’ll find that out down the line or perhaps you don’t cook much so it isn’t a big deal.
