Hello loves. I hope that each of you are having a wonderful day and in happy spirits. I am so excited for today’s post because I am sharing one of my favorite rooms in our house, our bedroom. I love this space so much and am so happy with how it turned out. Bringing a room to life is an interesting process because you have in our mind this visual of how you want the final product to look, but for me, that vision tends to change and tweak a bit as I actually go through the process of building, decorating, and finishing the room. As I look back at the original vision I had for our bedroom and now see the final product, I love where we landed. I also love the process of putting a room together for start to finish, the process is almost more than half the fun. As you can see in the reveal below, I stayed true to the natural earth tones that kind of make their way through our entire house. I also brought in some beachy vibes with certain decor pieces and our side tables. Mix in our bedding and fab sherpa swivel chairs from Lulu & Georgia and bring it all together with our simple bed and I am one happy camper!! My favorite aspect of the room is the natural light that constantly flows through our windows, it always feels so fresh and airy and light and I love it! As far as my favorite pieces in the room….that is a tough one because I love them all. Our bed, side tables, chairs, dresser, and decor all mix together to bring this vibe/mood that brings a smile to my face when I am in my bedroom. As much as I love it, one thing about me is I love to mix it up when it comes to how a room looks and feels!! So, I am sure that some time in the future I will be trying out new furniture, new decor, new bedding, etc, etc, etc…to create a new look and feel in the same space. That is one my favorite things about having your own home…taking a room at a time and creating a vision for a new look/vibe/feel/mood and then going through the process and finding the pieces and styling them in a way to bring that vision to life. I hope you guys like it! Let me know your thoughts, pieces and details are linked below. Have a great day!!
*I also have to give thanks to my amazing designer Jill Higley who helped me with our room!
